Durgapur, Paschim Bardhaman: Few professionals in regional journalism today can claim fluency in both the editorial and technical demands of the trade. Saikat Sharma, who operates under the professional name Rajdeep S. Sharma, is one such figure. Born on November 10 in Durgapur, Paschim Bardhaman district, West Bengal, he has spent his career at the intersection of reporting, publishing infrastructure and video production.
Multiple Mastheads, One Vision
At present, Sharma holds ownership and the Editor-in-Chief title at Front Times of Bengal, directing its editorial policy and operations. He also functions as Assistant Editor for Republican Mirror and leads its online arm as Editor-in-Chief of the Republican Mirror Digital Platform. Outside these formal roles, he undertakes freelance assignments in video editing and technical support for various organisations and individual clients.
